    2. Moral of the story: Do not wear hoop earrings or purple lipstick. Of course, a person with any sort of taste would not wear purple "Midnight Wine" lipstick to begin with.Prime Suspects: Delia, Karina, Delia's sister SarahPlot: Delia Easton and Karina Frye have always been in constant competition. Right now they are competing for the prestigious Conklin Award - and the love of douchebag Vincent Milano (he of the "trademark" smile). Since I've been reading Sweet Valley for some time now, I feel so [...]

    3. I remember reading this ages ago and peeing my pants in terror. Back in elementary school, these books were like crack to me. There once was a time when there was a whole shelf of just Fear Street books. As a kid, the cover was what drew me to it. Not this cover, but the cheesey 90's one. I recall thinking the boy on the cover was gorgeous. Hopefully that's what Vincent looked like because if he was a jerk at least make him a good looking jerk. I must say that I was kind of pissed by the first p [...]

    4. This is the reason why I love fear street books. They always have a twist in the end. Not only is it a twist, but it's a twist that no one and absolutely no one saw coming. This book is awesome. I recommend it to people who like suprises.

    5. loved this book! the twists and turns were flawless. The only thing I didn't quite like was how their wasn't really a main character. youll know what I mean when you read this book.

    6. I hate this book I'm sorry I just hated it.This is the second book I've tried reading of Gretchen McNeil's and I really wanted to like her books! But I just can't.I literally feel like I slept through the rest of the book after page 208. And for what? THAT ENDING?! WTH was that ending? It was no better then the ending in Ten by McNeil. I really do hope she redeems herself in 3:59 or I'll go insane trying to get through these darn books! This one dragged even worse then Ten.Yes it was an interestin [...]

    8. in 2013 my local library was getting ride of all paperback books and they had all the R.L. Stine / Christopher Pike books so I bought all of them and read them with a massive teen book marathon I really hope that a whole new generation of teens gets to fall in love with these books !!! as they are simply the best I loved all of these books in my teens :) and I really enjoyed going down memory lane re reading them as an adult :)

    9. The fake scares are insulting. By the middle of the book you can see the twist comingThe protagonist has conflicting characteristics, and the author spends too much time describing her fashion choices. Vincent, the love interest of the protagonist and "antagonist" is such a paperboard cut out, he's probably the scariest thing in the whole of the story. 10. This one has one of my favorite twist in the series, but the overall story can fell like there are two different plots fighting over each other. More details here: youtube/watch?v=xQWCT

    11. I wanted to get this book read by today and boy, am I happy I finished it as soon as I did. Killer's Kiss stands alongside some of the great Fear Street books, like The Best Friend and All-Night Party. The writing was good, the characters were developed very well, and the twist was the GREATEST. I'll get into more details of this story's excellence in a bit.Plot Synopsis: Delia and Karina have always competed against each other. For the best grades, the most friends, and now they're competing fo [...]

    12. Posted originally on my blog: The Writer's InkwellIf there's one thing you can learn from this book, it's that teenage girls are really stupid when it comes to teenage boys. From personal experience, I can vouch for this fact. I did a lot of stupid things over a boy as a teenager and believed a lot of stupid lies. But I never caught the guy I was seeing with another girl and just believed everything he said. But Delia and Karina both do. It's surprising because they are both supposed to be highly [...]

    13. There are a plethora of books that ive read and liked, but this book is one of my tops."Killers Kiss" by R.L Stine is a very good book.If you are the type of person that enjoys reading suspensive and misterious books, then i really think that your going to enjoy tis book."Killers Kiss" is based on two very competitive girls who are always competing for everything, from school grades, sports, style, even in love. This two girls with who they are both in love with make very harsh and regretable cho [...]

    14. Vincent is a player, dating Dalia and Karina at the same time. Dalia is colorful and expressive, while Karina is cool and beautiful. Delia and Karina are former childhood friends and now rivals in high school. Dalia is the narrator and all the girls around her are crazy. Karina attacks her in front of the whole school, Dalia's sister throw a temper tantrum. Vincent is killed and Dalia is the suspect because her lipstick on on his face. There is some shoddy police work involved, and Dalia solves [...]

    15. In life there are Cheaters in this world but as you may know in high school Cheating on somebody have way of much Drama. In this book thats when the drama stated a war against to teenage girls one named Delia and the other Karina. they both are always aganist something like grades, or freinds, or other but now they are fighting for a guy of thier dreams. at turns out that he was the one that started this because he dosent have a desion of what he wants.but soon one of them is going to find out h [...]

    16. I read this book long time ago when I was still in my first years in college. I think this book, that belongs to a series of books involving thriller, teenage situations, murders, was very easy to read. The descriptions that the author gives about the different scenes, the characters, even what the characters are wearing, are very accurate and simple. Even though the stories in the book weren't as interesting as I wish they were, it was fun and I had a great time reading it. I seriously consider [...]

    17. Ahhh, I read this so long ago. It was one of the last few Stine books that I bought. It cost me a lot more because it was a new book. All the others I'd gotten from used book shops.I remember not particularly enjoying it because by then Stine's twists were just so obvious that you knew what was going to happen. Not that it hadn't been any less obvious before, but the ride had still been enjoyable. Reading this particular one, or maybe another one that was republished, I remember thinking "Damnit [...]

    18. This was really a 2 star, but I give it a 3 in honor of my 13 year old self reading the Fear Streat series and feeling SO GROWN UP because there was lots of kissing and violence in it (not by today's standards by any means). I also enjoyed that it was spooky and I craved (still do) spooky books as a kid. Unfortunately, as an adult this book falls flat and I can't get back to the excited feelings I had when I read it the first time around. The writing style is too simple, the storyline not nearly [...]

    19. From the start of the book, I was desperate to read it, the one thing that kept me going on with the book is that I want to know what happens between Karina and Delia, because they have been fighting about everything, from the grades, to awards to the cutest boys in school. One unexpected night, I really think Delia was innocent, she was always innocent, but then, she did the right thing to make up Karina and Delia's friend relationshipThis book left me hanged up, the end was just NOT the end, I [...]

    20. It was nice to read something from the past again :) When I was younger, I was soo hooked on Goosebumps and anything R.L. Stine wrote. This book is all about competition and jealousy. I have to say that people can do CRAZYY stuff just to get what they want. The story is about a boy called Vincent who is a player. He dates both Delia and Karina who have always been rivals. They both are determined to have him for themselves and in order to do that, things get complicated.I recommend this book to [...]

    21. This book was so good.It was about two girls one was named Karina (like me) and the other one was named Delia they both had something in common which was that they both liked a boy named Vincent. But what they both don't know is that Vincent is dating them both at the same time. They find out and they compete to get him. In this book Delia lies to get Karina in trouble lying about how she tries to get Delia in trouble. During the book, Delia would hurt herself to get Karina in trouble for exampl [...]

    22. I have to admit. There were several "OMG!" moments throughout this book. I was fairly convinced Karina was doing all the sabotaging and maybe her little sister Sarah may have helped in that area. Vincent proved not a prize to be won and I'm surprised he didn't make it to the end of the book. One part that didn't make sense to me was Delia's need to confess her crimes to Gabe at the end. She was home free. If she was looking to get away with it all, she should have kept her mouth shut especially [...]

    23. These two girls were the most immature characters I've ever seen in a book. Vincent didn't deserve to die, but that doesn't change the fact that he was a pig and he definately had some sort of bad karma coming to him. I kind of figured that Delia was the crazy one. It just seemed to simple for it to have been Karina or Sarah. This was a very short, predictable book. The cliffhangers at the end of some of the chapters brought interest to the book, only to be ruined in the first two sentences of t [...]

    24. This book was so stupid, it's not even funny. It starts with a dumb blonde and a brownie. They were both competing for a boy named Vincent. They went at each other, to extreme points as the conflict became deadly. Eventually, Vincent was murdered and life goes on. The killer however was one of the two whores. This book did NOT have a good ending, did NOT have a good plot, WAS kind of horrifying, and the girls acted like sluts.

    25. Well this actually reminds me of a similir story that happened to one of my friends but noone was killed. It all starts with two girls that are in love with vincent(major hottie) and then nat the night of the prom vincent is killed and it was one of the girls that was in love with vincent but. What makes me love this is that in the END is really TWISTED YOU WILL BE SHOCKED AND HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    27. This book is apart of the R.L Stine young adult series named fear street. I'm not going to write a summary of this book because I'm supposed to review it. Overall I did like this book, I'm a big fan of all of Stine's books. To me he know how to write an amazingly balanced genre where the book isn't too scary and isn't too "adultish" for some of the other younger readers that are too old for goosebumps books

    28. This book is ridiculous. None of the characters are likeable, I think they're all crazy anyway, and the way the story is wrapped up is stupid. The twist at the end would have been interesting had it actually had something to back it up with. It just didn't really make sense. (view spoiler)[This also could have been a great opportunity to let the horror of these books come out and not have the villian punished (view spoiler)[ (hide spoiler)]. (hide spoiler)]

    29. This book is based on two girls named Delia and Karina, who are always competing each other for grades and popularity. Not even this, but both of them also want the same guy – Vincent. The story is basically talking about the competition between these two girls. As the story goes on, things get stranger, causing curiosity for the readers. The story ends with an unpredictable truth, which makes the book very interesting.

    30. This book has that classic Fear Street ending, which I love. However, I would really like to know what the girls saw in Vincent besides how "hot" he is. What an awful human being. Also, (view spoiler)[what on Earth made Delia spill the beans to Gabe, especially within earshot of other people? It made no sense. (hide spoiler)]On a random note, this new cover is not nearly as fun as the cheesy old one.
