    1. Barbara Elsborg lives in Kent in the south of England She always wanted to be a spy, but having confessed to everyone without them even resorting to torture, she decided it was not for her Vulcanology scorched her feet A morbid fear of sharks put paid to marine biology So instead, she spent several years successfully selling cyanide. After dragging up two rotten, ungrateful children and frustrating her sexy, devoted, wonderful husband who can now stop twisting her arm she finally has time to conduct an affair with an electrifying plugged in male, her laptop. Her books feature quirky heroines and bad boys, and she hopes they are as much fun to read as they are to write.

    2. Best BE book for me!Ever the outlierI found this book the best of Barbra Elsborg's books. I love Sci-fi erotica.is one is the example by which I compare all others. It's a funny story, peopleBE skillfully manages to hot up space, make it a little silly and emo and throw in some thrill ride bits all without losing the point of the story and that is Lucy. She is adorable and one of the best heroines I have ever come acrossThere's a Wodehouse feel to all of BE's books that are set in England or spa [...]

    3. I had read Barbara Elsborg's Trueblood series (/series/46896) and really enjoyed it so thought I would try another one of her books. Lucy in the Sky fit the bill as I wanted something fantasy.I thoroughly enjoyed this book and read it very quickly. Lucy is a single woman who has no family left. She had a very close relationship with her father who passed away after sharing years of tending their English garden. When a spaceship ruins her garden, there is no question why she rushes out to confron [...]

    4. Overall an okay readI liked Lucy . She is a tad bit stupid.Lets just call it impulsive and leave it at that. What i liked about here is that she is a chatterbox. Its fun to read what she talks and thinks . She is entertaining. The H is okay. He is the right amount of alpha , possessive and protective. I just wish this book had more to tell about the Mc's rather than the side characters. Hyll love story was not needed. It took away the spotlight for the H. Caleb the villain had a nice name which [...]

    5. I really enjoyed reading this one. It's so amazing! Just like every Barbara Elsborg's works that I've had read, I also finished this in just one sitting.I really adore Lucy. She's goodhearted, so cute albeit weird, and really funny.Threegod, I love his name!(I have a thing with digits, haha)Three's the first alien/human that I loved. He's so sweet and I liked that he always try to make Lucy feel loved and comfortable.A must-read. Just like all Barbara's epic works.

    6. I love the "voice" of Barbara Elsborg's works - she can do emotion and passion, and smart, witty banter and make you really feel like friends of the characters in her stories, even if the plot is a little out there. And this plot is definitely out there, but it's a lot of fun, too.Lucy Brilliant Sunshine Pineapple Princess Ferze discovers an alien has crash landed on her prized backyard plants. Rather than faint, call the cops, or freak out, she darts out back, accosts the alien, and then patche [...]

    7. (Erotica)3.5 stars"Mine," Three whispered. "You're mine.""Mine," he repeated, with that word I'm a goner*sigh*:)Cute, light, fun, and sexy x10(I mean it, its sex overload!;])I had so much fun reading this! Love Three and Lucy, they're lovable charactersI Love Lucy, she might be talkative but she makes me laugh with her silliness even during sex and the way she talked to the plants was so cute and endearing. When she told Hyll about 'what is love' was truly heartfelt:D I adore Three, and how prote [...]

    8. It was an OK readThe heroine Lucy has a terribly funny long name, she was very impulsive and I did like the hero and like reading his POV he is possessive and very protective of the heroine though he did not know why he had brought her with him. The idea, the plot and the world building wasn't bad but I feel like Hyll's love story with Zedan somewhat outshines the main couples love story and I don't know why if there is a need to read Velida and Caleb's POV. I'm not really even sure that Caleb w [...]

    9. This Science Fiction Romance blends fun, zany humor, steamy love scenes and nail-biting suspense in an imaginative, can't-put-it-down package. Lucy's antics often made me laugh out loud and Three was a compelling, charismatic (and sexy--did I mentioned sexy?) hero. There was even a secondary romance with a surprising twist. I don't want to give away the many surprises in this story, but it is hands down one of the very best of its subgenre that I've read!

    10. Geez, Barbara Elsborg never cease to amaze me! If I were Lucy, I'll run and never look back. But then again if the alien's as cute as Three, well Take me with ya! ;) I was expecting a menage in this book, but didn't find one. That's okay, Hyll and Zend's relationship os more than enough. I can't wait to read another book of Barbara Elsborg!

    11. Zimpra shit, I loved this one. I don't know why the rating is so low it's definitely a 4 star at least. This author is my new fave

    12. Good enjoyable book, but I probably won't be pulling a re-read on it.Unplanned Alien kidnapping.Erotica. M/F & M/MHEA

    13. I really enjoyed this whimsical book which was a little Sci-fi romance that hit the spot for a light hearted read.

    14. It doesn't feel fair for me to say this but this is probably more of a 3 star read, but for alien abduction erotica, it's a four star as the plot was way more developed than I thought it would be and the characterization was pretty darn good too.Quick Rundown: Super Quirky Chick finds an alien spaceship in her backyard. Of course, hot ass Alien Dude ends up disembarking and a funny little battle occurs before she is abducted. From then on, this became so much more than the typical alien abductio [...]

    15. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️4.5 stars - but rounded up to 5 because I loved Lucy so much!An alien space ship crash lands in Lucy's garden, ruining her flower beds, lawn and even decapitates poor old Eros! And from there on follows a funny, sexy, funny, sweet, funny, exciting and did I mention funny space journey? Lucy is nothing like any of the other abducted humans I've ever read about in any sci fi romance. She's my absolute favourite! If I ever get so lucky to be abducted by Four (please, p [...]

    16. When Lucy wakes up one morning to see a spaceship on her back lawn, she doesn't believe her eyes. Especially when she rushed outside to find it no longer there. But the damage to her back lawn remains. As she surveys her destroyed yard, she runs into something hard, and round, and invisible. A spaceship. And when a gorgeous alien exits the ship, her first reaction is to pitch the head of a broken statue at him.Three had finished his mission to Earth, collecting plant species to study back on the [...]

    17. This was an amazing book. I couldn't put it down. This author just did an great job at weaving an imaginative tale that flowed smoothly to the end. I didn't get bored or lost or frustrated at any point and the words flowed from chapter to chapter. Now my laundry is seriously suffering because of it. :)My recommendation is buy it and read it. That is if you like the same type of book that I do. I love a book that makes me laugh out loud, cry when sacrifices are made for or out of love, has a hot [...]

    18. When Three accidentally crashes his space ship into Lucy’s garden, he gets quite a bit more than he bargained for from the tiny Earth female. He’s so enraptured by Lucy that he smuggles her aboard the mother ship and hides her in a biosphere with the plants he collected from her world. Lucy’s loquacious ways soon infect the Worker B’s of Biosphere Seven with the heretofore unheard of disease of independent thinking. Upon discovering Lucy, sadistic Commander Caled thinks to turn her spiri [...]

    19. 3 StarsAfter reading, and loving Elsborg's Power of Love I had to see what else she had out there. I found Lucy in the Sky and the blurb seemed right up my ally. Unfortunately, I was a bit let down. There wasn't enough background information about the alien culture that Lucy was introduced to, and Three's character seemed underdeveloped. The ramblings of Lucy were hilarious and the sex scenes were pretty darn hot, but I was expecting more. If you're looking for a book to make you giggle and get [...]

    20. I thought this book was great the humour made laugh and smile. I like the whole story set up which is different from other alien abduction romance/erotica, Lucy was quirky, funny and I instantly liked her, Three was great strong, protective, possessive and gentle (I can imagine him as a hunky James bond type) Does contain anti-gravity sex (sounds like fun lol), m/f, m/m, m/m/f, voyeurism, mild BDSM and anal sex Some of which I did not anticipate and not all hero and heroine.

    21. Cute and sexy, 'Lucy in the Sky' made me laugh, and cry, on more than one occasion. It has everything I love in a book; great characters, romance, a bit of mystery, a lot of intrigue, scorching sex and a satisfying, happily ever after. Even without all the blazing sexy times, and there are a lot of them, this story is a hot romance. Love at first sight, mixed with hot alien intrigue, creative with adorable humor, if you love a sexy, romantic, funny story, you'll love this one!

    22. Very nice! I liked the twist at the end when you discover who Three really is. (view spoiler)[ Also love the fact that his last name is Prince, to go along with Lucy's 4th middle name 'Princess'. Who names their daughter something like that? Weird! (hide spoiler)] And best yet the author kept going and let you meet his parents, then kept at it until he was reunited with his parents. Then the epilog, would have liked a longer one but it's really hard to beat a 6 liner! lolz

    23. I like Lucy and the witty banter between the characters. Miss Elsborg writes a fun, enjoyable story about an alien abduction. It also has the same theme all her books have, that is "There is no hope for us and we will die tomorrow so lets just have sex to bring on the memories". Anyway, the heading for each chapter is interesting and it summarizes most of what happen in that chapter.

    24. Lucy is awesome, made me laugh right from the begining with her questions and comments. Her inner dialogues are just as hillarious as the vocalized ones; 'Did she still have all her faculties? Divide three thousand and thirty-two by nine. Er—nope, still couldn’t do it.' Three is also witty in his responces: 'You're not green''not the last time i looked'

    25. I LIKED EVERYTHING ABOUT IT!!!Except the sex XD Yeah, there was too much of it for my taste. The MC is a mad, wacky flibberty-gibbet and I LOVE HER TO DEATH.I feel like the author lost her mojo towards the ending.I appreciated the angst!!

    26. OK I enjoy first 1/3 of this book and then it was like HUH?!?! I didn't like the "twist" with all this I'm alien and I feel human/I was abducted by aliens thing. But still you can enjoy the story and I can say it is well written so 2 and 1/2*
