    2. I snagged this one at the big used booksale in Phoenix this past weekend. We've always loved Karen Katz books for their vibrant colors, cute illustrations and lift the flaps. We already owned the Easter, Valentine's, and Hallween bookt sure how we didn't already own the Christmas one! Our copy is missing one flap though I might have to make one.The book itself is cute though, similar to the other version where baby is searching for the holiday related item, in this case, his Christmas present. 3. A fun lift-the-flap book! It's (obviously) a Christmas book, as you "help" Baby look for their present. (view spoiler)[It's under the tree, of course. (hide spoiler)] Each and every two-page spread has a lift-the-flap, and the flaps are large enough for little hands to grab and manipulate. I also like that each flap reveals not only a new image but also additional text. The text has a refrain to it, and that sort of repetition is really good for developing minds. A great read!

    4. Lexi loves reading this book over and over, even though she is now 2, and technically not a baby. She loves to guess what could be behind each flap.A great book for Christmas or really any time of the year!My only question is: Where are the parents while Baby is busy exploring all over the house?

    5. Baby discovers a host of Christmas objects as she searches for her Christmas present. This is a commercial Christmas book although one of things that Baby finds is angels.

    6. I heard a carrol song last Christmas and in the lyrics there was a gingerbread. I'm not accustomed to western culture and I was curious about it. And in this book there is a gingerbread house. Why?
