    1. Traci Andrighetti is the USA TODAY bestselling author of the Franki Amato mysteries and the Danger Cove Hair Salon mysteries In her previous life, she was an award winning literary translator and a Lecturer of Italian at the University of Texas at Austin, where she earned a PhD in Applied Linguistics But then she got wise and ditched that academic stuff for a life of crime writing, that is.If she s not hard at work on her next novel, Traci is probably watching her favorite Italian soap opera, eating Tex Mex or sampling fruity cocktails, and maybe all at the same time She lives in Austin with her husband, young son who desperately wants to be in one of her books and three treat addicted dogs.

    2. I received this novella as a free gift from the author. What a fun little mystery! When Franki Amato's Nonna goes missing, it's up to her to find her. I'm not usually big into mysteries, but this is a quick, laugh out loud story with a crazy cast of characters. Loved it!

    3. It's the most wonderful time of the year in New Orleans, LA and Houston, TX—the primary setting locales for this transient and relatively decent cozy mystery penned by USA TODAY bestselling author, Traci Andrighetti. Franki Baby, Hurry Down the Chimney.Seated on a barstool at Thibodeaux's Tavern in N'awlins on Christmas Eve night is Ms. Francesca Lucia Amato, a purebred Italian, licensed PI, coveter of sassy wit, and pitifully repressed Catholic. While awaiting the arrival of her best friend, [...]

    4. Rosolio Red (A Franki Amato Mystery short story) — Traci Andrighetti Jan. 13, 2017Note: was originally read as part of a collection of holiday cozy mysteries called: “Cozy Christmas Shorts: holiday short story collection”.This was a super fun, super fast read. Very enjoyable. Another “Christmas” short story that mostly only centered around the dates on the calendar, and could actually be read during any time of the year (especially since if was based far south in Texas and Louisiana.) [...]

    5. This is the first time I have read Traci Andrighetti and I did enjoy this short story.Franki's nonna had gone missing over the Christmas holidays and although Franki had planned to spend the holidays with her latest heart throb, she decided that it was more important that she set about looking for her nonna. The only place that her nonna would go to each day was church and then perhaps nip over to her son's deli so it was extremely worrying for the family when she was at neither, nor at home. Fr [...]

    6. Traci Andrighetti has managed to combine several of my favorite genres into one with this laugh out loud short read. Amateur sleuth, cozy mystery, romance and comedy combine for a special escape read as Franki Amato must give up her holiday plans to return home and search for her grandmother.Or should I stress meddling grandmother. Is she the victim of a sweetheart swindler? All evidence points to a mysterious man in black. After meeting Franki and her friends I want to read this entire series.

    7. This laugh riot of a mystery is the very thing to lighten your holiday stresses! Living in NOLA, Franki would rather spend Christmas with her main squeeze, but then her Italian grandmother goes missing so Frankie gets herself off to Houston. There she hunts for her Nona while everyone from the parish priest to the dry cleaner nag her about not having a husband, just like her Nona always does! I love this writer's work!

    8. I liked this funny short story---did not realize how short it was, but it was worth it. When Grandma is missing in action on Christmas Eve, pandemonium ensues! I don't want to say more for fear of giving too much away. Spirit-lifting, giggle-inducer.

    9. Rosalio Red, my first short read from author Traci Andrighetti was so enjoyable with numerous tongue-in-cheek remarks adding to the enjoyment. Characters so well-developed you feel you know them. I need to get more books by this author.

    10. Disappointing! I didn't know it was a short story so I no sooner started reading it when it ended. It felt incomplete, like a teaser for another book.

    11. I received a free copy of this book. It definitely is a 5 star little novella of Christmas fun! I enjoyed it thoroughly & was able to read it in one sitting. The characters are delightful & I had fun meeting them all. I have not read any of the other books by Traci Andrighetti & hope to soon! Happy reading!

    12. Happy holidaysFunny and enjoyable can wait for more of Franki adventure nonna is a hoot glad she breaks down the Italian quotes

    13. Andrighetti is a bona fide comedian and if you want to assess that theory, please grab a copy of Rosolio Red and from the first paragraph you will know what I mean.Andrighetti’s dialogue is genuine yet uproarious, and her glowing characters animatedly leap off the page.Andrighetti’s sparkling wit keeps the hijinks brimming with merriment.A mirthful, feisty heroine, a fun mystery exploration, diverting secondary players, ubiquitous comicality, sharp one-liners, and some famiglia make this Fra [...]

    14. This is a anothet great story from Traci Andrighetti. The story is so fun that you want more which can be continued in her other books. Franki is a private detective living in New Orleans with some interesting friends. Glenda is an older ex-stripper that is organizing a senior stripper revue. She is definitely someone you would notice in a crowd. Franki is going home to Houston for the holidays with her boyfriend Bradley. She finds out her nonna is missing and she goes home to join the hunt for [...]

    15. Now I really can't wait. No, not for Christmas, but the next installment in this series.I only wish I knew a minute fraction of Italian language, culture , and history I learn in these books. And , as an added perk, I love the Catholicism I have either never learned or forgot, but, it's the beginning of Advent, so there are more candles to light.Grazi for the fun cozies.

    16. (E) I bought this after I enjoyed the 1st volume so much. I read it out of order (!!!) because I saw that it was about Christmas, so wanted to get it in while it was still December. It was cute. Kind of reminded me of Stephanie Plum and her grandma.

    17. What a whacky start to a story- kept my attention! The story was outragous and really funny. What a crazy old lady or two or three!

    18. Nonna strikes again!A cute Christmas novella. Thanks to Frankie s Nonna, her romantic life heats up. And once again Nonna steals the show.

    19. A short novella that you'd only read if you already love the characters in the Franki Amato series. Now on to the next FULL book.
