    1. Hélène Druvert Is a well-known author, some of his books are a fascination for readers like in the Paris Up, Up and Away book, this is one of the most wanted Hélène Druvert author readers around the world.

    2. Onto my next illustration study! “Paris Up, Up and Away”, just might be the most gorgeous book! I have always loved silhouettes in art and mixing that with Paris made for a beautiful book! The Eiffel Tower is bored and wants to fly away. In the same concept as the adorable movie, “Up” balloons are strapped to the top of the tower and it takes to the sky exploring all of Paris and the people who occupy it. Each page is a true work of art. It has this classic, elegant, and whimsical feel t [...]

    3. I got this book from Amman and the artwork is phenomnal! It's a silhouetted laser cut children's book in black and white that takes you in a journey through the most famous locations in Paris. It's so beautiful and breathtaking!

    4. Journey through a silhouetted Paris with a runaway Eiffel Tower as your companion in this stunning laser cut children's book.

    5. Using black stiff pages and gorgeous laser cut drawings, the Eiffel tower flies up and away and takes us readers on a tour of the city of light. In small rhymes, each page is awe-inspiring, will be a lot of fun for those who have been to Paris. And it could be a beginning of a geography study. Beautiful book!

    6. I bought this for my daughter. It is truly amazing imagery in book form. There are cutout pages between each page which changes the image of pages both before and after the cutout page. We had gone to Paris last summer so I thought this would be a good book/keepsake to help remember that trip. I loved this book and hope my daughter loves it as well.

    7. Another stunning book meant for children but really this is lovely for all of us who appreciate intricate lasercuts and amazing drawings. I suggested Los Altos library buy this and they did! One thing to note is to be very careful as you turn the pages because the lasercuts are so beautiful but extremely detailed and it's easy to catch a finger in them. The type of paper used seems to make it less likely that the lasercut drawings could be torn, but good to be careful anyway.

    8. In this lovely billet-doux to Paris, the Eiffel Tower "takes off for the day to watch the city work and play." Readers join the Tower on this sightseeing tour. The magic of this book goes beyond the fantasy of a flying Tower; the black-and-white illustrations include overlays of Scherenschnitte (well, actually laserenschnitte -- as the cuts are made with lasers, rather than the traditional scissors). The lacy pages are a treat to examine delicately and gently flip back-and-forth. I will undoubte [...]

    9. This is such a beautiful book. The story is lovingly illustrated with lasercut pages that are viewed from both sides of the page and though it lacks color pages it more than makes up for it in elegance. The story of the day the Eiffel Tower decides to view Paris and its people is magical and magically represented by the lasercuts. Charming, this book is a perfect gift for the book collector in your life or a precious present to give a child to introduce them to the artistic endeavors authors can [...]

    10. Simply delightful - beautiful cut paper work. Reminded me of "A Sky full of Kindness" - only this one features the actual paper cut illustrations - not just prints. The paper craft is intricate and pages imaginatively designed and so recognisably PARIS !

    11. A beautifully stunning piece of art. She has intricate laser cut designs throughout this book. The paper looks like lace. You just have to see it!

    12. Absolutely stunning and extremely clever picture book. Not for little hands but lots to look at and share with the little people in your life.

    13. This is an interesting take on Paris. I loved the cut outs in the story. I liked that it was in black and white.
