    1. Pushing The Needle Too Far is a tale I started writing at University eighteen years ago It started as two poems elation and fall out I saved it on a floppy disk which became corrupted so I had to think what was on them That is how this started A desire to finally write the story that was in me and lots of thinking I also wrote this as I was thinking of a friend who I lost touch with We had a friendship which involved lots of laughter and making each other smile when they were down But it got complicated and we lost touch This book is almost a lament to that friendship, should we have been sensible, would life have been different I regret not apologising for my stupid behaviour, as I am sure I was at fault too so this book is my apology.A heartfelt apology I hope it is taken in the spirit intended.I went to University, so the description of the rooms and showers are quite real, I lived in a house with others and I went for last orders a lot I have used situations ie the pub, or derelict building that I found myself in or observed as a base for Rose and the others, but the characters and happenings grew far beyond what I could imagine when I first sat down to write.I am part Romany, part German and Irish, but 100% Yorkshire That is where the fact and fiction depart I am also a dyslexic, I apparently make up words that are not in the dictionary it seems a shame not to use them but I am told I cannot.I do hope you enjoy the story I am busy writing the second as you read this.

    2. I am grateful to see that two other people really enjoyed this book. It eases my conscience giving it one star and a very poor review. The poor grammar and syntax, misuse of common words, and the perpetual stream-of-consciousness writing made my eyes glaze over very quickly. One or two chapters of this might have kept my interest, but I skipped ahead and there seemed to be no end in sight. I freely admit here that I was unable to read through the entire book because of what I see as its deficienc [...]

    3. Really enjoyed this book, I love the way the style of writing involves you with the characters, it took me right back to my own university days. Hoping there will be another book to follow!(Disappointed that the previous reviewer can be so critical of a book she states she hasn't even read?!)

    4. Wow let's just start off saying this book should be 4 1/2 stars i just don't have that option to make it like that lolAnyways at first it took me some time to get into the story it was switching to much between the characters and also the miss spelling of words got to me the hole book but i got over both of those and it turned out to be a really great story!!I was kinda bummed out about the way it was ending in a way I was hoping that Rose and Malakai would end up together finish school and get [...]
